Thanks for all the tips and advice. Had the problems once since then and had to go thru the routine again. Started using the ing switch to shut off as mentioned in a earlier post. That helps me make sure my hand is off the throttle first. I have a habit of thumbing the kill switch while still gripping the throttle.

I have also heard that if you have your hand on the throttle when you start it, it will remember that as zero also.

Manual recommends killing motor with kill switch, not key switch. Don't know why, but there must be a reason. Suppose it is a safety reason, or something to do with puter??
