Dude I wouldn't even crank that thing until the dealer looks at it, if you are not making a mistake in calculating the mileage then you are washing your cylinders down bigtime, check your oil and see if it smell's like gas but double check your mileage.

Its must be dripping out the muff or your crank is filling up at 13 mpg heeheehee,I dont drive the speed limit and I average around 36-40 on both bikes.......speed limit I can get 43-45 per gal....

I put 3.9 gallons in it and went 52 miles so 52/ 3.9 is 13.33 right ? No I dont drag race been taking it easy. WTF..... My last tank only went 158 miles. I can hear a slight whomping noise coming from the rear and at low spends it feels like the back brake is sticking.

It does have a gas smell to it. This is my first harley and glad I asked. I have filled this bike up at least 3 to 4 times already.

I seriously think you made a little math miscalculation. 13mpg? That's hard to imagine. If correct you better get that in the shop asap.

You have to have messed up your calculations. You must first fill it up and make sure it is full. Ride a good distance, record this milage. Now fill it to the same full you did first. Now divide your miles by gallons include the decimals. It sounds like you are checking the gauge and using this for calculations. I always fill up on the side stand and fill till the vent is almost under gas. Always to the same level for calculations.
