Oil dip stick

Dose anyone know if there is another dip stick out there besides the digital one that would be easier to remove. I can tighten it by hand but next time I check the oil I have to get channel locks and a rag to loosen it. Thanks for any input.

Guess no one else has this problem. Not that it is a big problem. Just a pita.

I just screw my dipstick in till it's snug and it comes out easily. Make sure the o-ring is in good condition because thats what seals the oil in, without tightening down on the dipstick excessively

sounds like you are making it too tight. just snug it up and the rubber gasket will keep the oil in there.

Thats probally true. Just changed the oil today and just snugged it up. I was just worried that it would vibarate off or blow out oil. I guess there is some kind of pressure in the crank.
