Mean City Cycles w/ Memory Foan
My seat is a Sundowner on an 09 StreetGlide. I wanted to sit lower and further back and I wanted a optimized pillion area for wifey; mission accomplished. I bolted the seat on at three yesterday afternoon and immediately went for a 75 mile local ride. Initially the seat truly felt deeper with a higher support area for the lower back (upper tush). Not only did the seat "feel" better to sit on but the shock absorbing was improved. The roads in Maine suck and it's impossible to avoid/anticipate the swollen culverts and broken pavement. I noticed that the "bang" wasn't as brutal with the new seat. You know the Street Glides look hot with the shortened rear suspension but it ain't no KLR650 when the going gets rough. I had the two layer job done both front and rear and I'm VERY happy with the results. My buddy and I are planning an Iron Butt ride soon so ...............Thank you Allen!
