Apologies if this is a repeat thread, but since we're rolling out for OKC Thursday morning, I figured I'd see if anyone else here was going.
Haven't done much HOG stuff in several years, but since we did years ago there have gotta be some of the older crowd going.
Seems like the last thing we did was the rally in Billings Montana. At that one, BillN setup a meet & greet @ the HD shop for HDF folks, which was really cool.
Gonna be one hot and humid rally........our HOG Chapter will have a lot of members there, and yes, most of them are older....as in 50's plus. I'm staying home in the AC. I've been to so many rallies that they all seem the same to me anymore. Guess I'm getting old! Plus, the black asphalt coupled with the 107* heat index is not my idea of fun. Hopefully there will be plenty of indoor oasis' to hide in.
I'm going, heat or not! I hate the cold way more than being hot so I figure I can't bitch about them both. Been a H.O.G. member for 11 years and never went to one of their rallies but I'm going to this one. Leaving early Friday morning. My brother was going with me but his wife's stepfather died last night in K.C., MO (83 yrs old, liver cancer) so he'll be going up there. Goin' solo.
