Not that I'm trying to sell you my mufflers but I had these on my 107 with V&H TD'S, SE 255,Basiley SS heads and they were quieter then anything I tried,SPO OVALS , V&H Monster ovals.
MONSTER OVALS is the way to go!!!! Spent lots of time at shows and dealerships trying to get the right sound. I have an 07 ultra w/V&H true duals & the fuel pack. Originally had the basic slip ons which got way to loud. A lot of money but I have about a thousand miles on the monsters and I am very happy with the sound as well as the look and performance.
You can always go for the factory exhaust. I have the rineharts and love the sound. I'm of the opinion that it helps keep me safer on the road. To each his own though.
A lot of folks that've outgrown the racket but not the performance are putting on non-cat CVO mufflers. They're a lot better sounding than stock, quieter than most aftermarket stuff and still flow real well. First thing CVO buyers do is change the exhaust so you'd think they'd be for sale all over the place. A lot of folks are looking for 'em though.
I fully understand about wanting quiet mufflers but just remmber the cagers can't see you now they will not hear you, I almost got taken out by a Goldwing while back guy was hauling *** went right by me never heard a thing his bike was so quiet...........
The supertrapp is a cool sounding quiet pipe, I think anyway..........those VH monster pipes are butt fugly..........there freakin huge...............but to each his own.

Unless someone's rackin' off goin' through the gears at high RPMs do you really hear bikes coming towards you or from behind? I don't. In the cage with the windows rolled up, A/C blowing and tunes playing I don't hear a bike, regardless of how loud, until they pass me goin' one way or the other. Personally, I think "Loud Pipes Save Lives" isn't a valid argument. Awareness is what saves life's, whether you're on a bike or in a cage.

You make a valid point. You don't hear them until they are right on top of you and it's too late to do anything...................but they sure do sound good....if they're not ridiculously loud.
I have the SE Touring slip ons with a stage 1 and really like the sound; just a little louder than stock with better breathing for the stage 1 setup. I had V&H ovals initially and really liked the sound but they grew much louder within 3 months of install and were too loud for me.
I have rhineharts and bought the quieting baffles from someone on this forum.Contact Rhinehart and ask them about getting some.I have not tried them.If I sell my bike you can buy them.Keep in touch.
