I had the same concerns as you. I have basically the same setup + hi flow heads and V&H dresser duals w/ supertrapp slipons. I purchased a set of baffles from Big City Thunder that made the exhaust quieter, and also made a deeper rumble. I am quite satisfied now. Contact them at www.bigcitythunder.com

I’m running true duals with the Sceamin Eagle Street Performance Mufflers.
Nice rumble at idle but at 60mph on highway you cant even hear them.

I want to stay with true duals, & since I already spent the money on the Rineharts I thought I would try the quiet baffles. I did find some info on the quiet baffles, seems they are only 10% quieter.

the quiet baffels reaaly arent quiet but they take away some of the high pitched stuff and leave a nice deep rummble.

I have an 09 EGS...im looking at the monster ovals. Is it necessary to go full exhaust or just stick with slip ons.

MO slip-ons

After spending big bucks on the full Rinehart set up and not liking it, I put a set of Monster Ovals on the stock pipes and everything is good. A nice low tone, but will talk to you when you get on it.
