I just bought a used 06' Ultra...Had it for about 3 weeks..I have a oil pressure gauge...what should the oil pressure be? at idle? with throttle?
Thanks in advance....
Thanks in advance....
mine runs about 28/30 going down the highway at an idle its abou 5 lbs.. I think number 1 the gauges are junk but number 2 the engine has all roller and ball bearings and doesnt need pressure just flow..
thanks..I noticed that is is almost at the 0 mark when idle...I guess that is normal and is really about 5.....I am waiting for an owners manual to come in the mail so I will not have any more "newbie" questions LOL
although I better not say that..may have more "newbie" questions even with the manual
oh I also notice when I am let's say I am in 4th...I downshift to 3rd....if I give the throttle a quick off and on..I hear like a click sound for lack of a better word...is that sound normal? maybe tranny fluid has to be checked?
thanks again

The lifters and in the case of TC96 engines ('07 and above) the outer cam (native-metal) bearings require oil pressure.Originally Posted by n8dc
