Amsoil 20-05 tested at 8000 miles- no measurable degradation but still changed it. This time will test it at 10,000. If no degradation I'll just change it every 10,000. Why throw money away because you "feel" it's time to change it even if you don't have to. Ever have your oil analyzed? It's cheap, it's smart, and then you'll know. Don't need to change Amsoil at 5000 IMO.

every 2500 to 3000, overkill yes but these are air cooled engines and beat the hell out of the oil. cheap insurance! lets harley don't want your engine to last for 150000 miles. mine will!
