And people wonder why local governments are cracking down on motorcycles with non-stock exhausts?
Sheesh! We're our own worst enemy.
Do I think it's cool? Hell yeh! Do I think it's also overkill and on the extreme side? Absotively, posolutely. A bike with that exhaust should NEVER be out in public and should only be fired up in controlled environments where loudness is expected and accepted. Otherwise, the owner is making things bad for the rest of us.
Before you think I have my undies in a bunch...I have V&H Classics with V&H TD's on a SE 103" build. They're loud enough, but nowhere near that racket that the pipe on that bike emits.
From: In the Pacific Northwest, a few hours east of Seattle.
You'd have to change the exhaust for long rides...
Otherwise even with earplugs you'd be deaf in your right ear after a couple hours...
Nice package. I like it as a piece of art.
But it's kinda weird - "neither one thing nor the other" - its a bagger built as a dragger: solo seat, huge exhaust, wicked cubic inches, ...but as a touring bike. Great stereo, ...but you won't hear it very clearly over that exhaust... the dude had to turn off the bike before he could demo the sound system.
It's kinda like seeing a NASCAR race car with a luggage rack on top of the car.
Interesting, but you wouldn't take it on vacation.
