If I couldn't get a new one, I would go with the 05 Ultra - find one who had the valve seals replaced. Would be even better to find one with a cam/exhaust upgrade and gear drive cam.

My '03 Ultra was great! Loved the bike and had absolutely no issues whatsoever.

Honestly my '08 is an awesome bike. The 6 gal tank is great, love the 6 speed tranny. FBW is smooth as silk. Truely love this bike!

84 mos., 9%, $200/mo gets you to $12,430 subtract your sales tax, miscl fees to arrive at the sale price.

Unsure if that rate appiles to used bikes or just limited to new ones.

If I can get 18k-19k out the door I think the wife would go for it as long as the payments are sub 250ish.

I have talked her into my fair share...

When we got married. The first sentence was... YOU BETTER FORGET GETTING A BIKE I WILL NEVER RIDE ONE OF THOSE!

Flashforward 6 months. I have my first bike.

Flashforward 1 more year...we are taking trips...

Flashforward 2 years...we take a 9 hour trip on a V-Star 1300...

She is the one who brought up the Ultra..

Trouble will be getting 18-19k out the door.

Harmon Kardon radios were introduced on the 2006 models. I don't know about the cig lighter, as its something I never use anyway lol

Cb module also shouold have changed to work with the Harmon Kardon in 2006 I would think.

I have an 04 EGS and my buddy has an 04 Ultra. One thing on both of our wish lists is the 6 speed transmission. If you can score one, that would be my recommendation.
