Spedo quits

Pull the speedo sensor out of the top of the trans and clean off the little metal shavings that likely are magnetized to it. If this doesn't help, the sensor is probably bad. I had to replace mine on my 01 FLHTCUI a couple years ago.

hey c-rain.on my 98 flhpi mine started to bounce too.sometimes it would quit,other times just bounce up and down.i did what geoff said and cleaned the sensor,but it still does the same thing.so i guess i will take his advice and buy a new sensor.
