Default Bars changed and now a question

Noticed last night while pulling out of the driveway...after changing my bars to reach bars on my '09 Ultra, when turned to full lock to the right, it acts like the clutch is engaging (like pulling in the lever)...once the bars start to go to neutral position wham....like dumping/popping the clutch.

As I have read here many times, the clutch cable didn't need to be changed for the reach bars....apparently I need to get a longer cable? Dang near dropped my bike while making a slow right tight turn this morning....

When I swapped mine to the WO 508's, I had to go +1" over stock. I tried the stockers but they were too tight..

definately sounds like its too tight, whether its due to how you have it routed or otherwise. Either have to go +1 or find some slack somewhere

I used my stock clutch cable with my 575's, but I just had to reroute it to make it work. Not a big deal, and it saved me from buying a new clutch cable.

Just re-route yours to the shortest direct route possible, and it should make it work fine.

when I change mine, I'm gonna try with the stocker and re-routing it. In your situation though that is definitely a danger. I would change the routing or get a longer cable before you ride any more or you'll risk putting your bike on the ground.

Well, I just put on a longer cable today. Works fine now. Thanks for the help.

The cable routing was as delivered but obviously too short.
