Default Radio Problem / Bad Timing

Well I have read about ather folks problems with the radio on the 06 Dressers. I have had absolutely no problems with mine until today. Going over the bike, changing oil, checking tire pressure, etc. getting ready for a 10 day trip. Went for a test ride and the display on my radio is out. I called the dealer & was told they would have to pull the radio and send it off. Well it still plays so I am going to leave it in until I return. Thanks Harley Davidson.

Mine started giving trouble this week also, after 1500 mi.

CRAP!!! Haven't talked to dealer yet. Gonna have to make a visit soon.

Get him to calibrate that freakin gas gauge as well. Says full when almost empty!!

Keep us informed on what they did for you!

Not sure if this will help or not since it was with our truck stereo. The back lighting and everything went out and I tried everything to reset it. Display was out for a year when we had to put a new battery in the truck. After we did, the stereo lights and display came back and has worked ever since.....very odd lol! Anyhow, maybe disconnect the battery, reconnect and see if there's a reset button for the stereo........stranger things ya know?

Man I thought I was the only one having problems with his radio. I lost my radio display about two weeks ago on my 06 RG. Just got done topping off with fuel and pushed my odom reset button when the radio went blank. Called my HD dealer and let them know. They checked out the radio and tried to reset it there in the shop, that didn't work. The dealer called me and said they talked to HD and they were overnighting a new radio. Two days later all is well with the radio.
