They sell pretty well around here & I hear out west they're very popular. I never noticed 'em much around here but once I bought mine I see about one a week at least going down the interstate...saw a guy the other day at the gas station on a orange SE version & a guy ona black one the same day..

If they had not left the pipe hangers there, you all would be bitching about having to buy one from "the Stealer" when you change out pipes like 90% of buyers do.

The move to slap a RG fairing onto an everyday Street Glide is a move to cut costs and eliminate the real FLTR from the line up. Now all they need to make, stock and change is the fairing itself to make two different bikes. I think it was a last minute approach to add a new model while greatly reducing cost at MOCO. Sadly, the real Road Glide is indeed gone. If I wanted a Street Glide, I would have bought one. People who want Street Glides will buy Street Glides. I predict this will not be a big seller for MOCO.. The paint is getting worse, not better and bikes like the Victory "Cross Country" will begin to seriously infringe on Harley Davidson's sales in short order. Victory is improving while HD is suffering from cost cutting moves. No Cruise Control, No passenger floor boards, no Taillight and esentially no Windshield (nor headlight cover) all for what, a price increase of several hundred? It doesn't make sense except to the MOCO bean counters......

I am glad that i have my 07 RG. I have to agree that the new RG looks like a modified Street glide with the shark nose fairing. Back in 2006 I wanted a Street Glide. Then I rented the Street Glide and Road Glide and the RG came out on top. I did not like the seat on the Street Glide ( I felt the RG seat was more comfortable) and I liked the cruise control. When I looked at the front floor boards on the 2010 RG, I noticed those are the same floor boards used on the Street Glide. Hopefully it sells well for HD but I believe the true RG is gone.

It is coming, just not right now. It was listed on the California CARB site as being tested in late June 2009.

Glad I got my Fugly glide in the garage, Cause I wouldn't buy a 2010 Road Glide. I'd buy a Road king or better yet a used road glide. The fugly Glide is dead, Long live the Real ROAD GLIDE'S.

Never been a big fan of the Roadie, but I'd consider the new one if I were in the market. But then again I did buy a Street Glide.

I'm disappointed in the '10 model....I was one of those on the fence really hoping they'd come out with an Ultra Road Glide. IMO, that would have been a big seller for the company....maybe I'd of sold 'Ol Blue to buy one. Look at all the money I just saved.

If I didn't have a bike and was looking I would be looking real hard at a new road glide in the black denim, now mind you i ride a street glide. However the previous years RG's didn't do anything for me. If I had bought one I would of had to lower it, do something about the crappy looking headlight cover and change out the windshield. I think If i had one of those new roadies all i would have to do is put a klockwerks ws on the front and it would be good to go.

I think harley did a damn fine job considering the competition. I keep hearing about Victory, well let me tell you those new bikes they unveiled this year look like warmed over **** IMO. Reading all these bitchy posts is damn fine entertainment though, by the way some of them talk it's like the world is coming to an end because they actually improved the looks of the bike and forgot the pizza box.

Doesn't mean that the FLTRU won't come out midyear like the bones and rocker did???

FWIW, the 2010 painted parts matrix is out with pn#'s for the painted parts. It is listing the FLTRU which subsequently shows pn#'s for a tourpak!!!!! The colors that the FLTRU will be offered in are flame blue pearl, brilliant silver, vivid black and red hot sunglo
