All guages quit working

Hello all; Was riding when all the guages quit working. The backlighting on all the guages qiut working EXCEPT the speedo & tach backlighting. Bike runs fine. All other lights work. Lighter works. Radio works. I'm at work and want a head start as to what to look for when I get home. Thanks for all replies.

First and foremost start with the fuses then go from there.

have you got a test light, or a v.o.m.? meaning volt/ohm meter? easy to probe for the problem.

Update: All guages quit working

Just as everyone expected, the 15 amp instrument fuse was blown. Strange though, that there was not any discoloration at all in the fuse. Just a clean break. If it blows again, off comes the outer fairing.

I had that same situation happen to me. It turned out to be a pinched wire coming from the left hand control module. I had recently swapped out my handlebars and had put on new grips. I pinched a wire when I put everything back together which kept blowing fuses.
