No experience with it but the 55MPH rating is curious. The price is good.

Howdy from a tranplanted Lancaster-ite..

Thats a good price but I don't like the 55 MPH a little slow.

Not bad but would not work for me, towing speed WAY to slow.

The 55mph is based on tires at full load at 600lbs. I have a home built from a harbor freight frame and pull it at interstate speeds. You will not come close (I hope) to 600lbs. when packing for even the longest trip. I posted this in the Trike and trailering forum
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/hacke...r-with-rg.html and Dr. Hess just finished a trailer and had lots of guys chiming in on that thread just a few days ago. I wouldn't worry about the speed rating.

I just finished a trailer and it was going to have 8" wheels. I researched it and it was only rated to 55mph. I then saw they offered the same trailer with 12" wheels and could both haul more weight and not have a highway speed restriction as the 8" wheel. Do yourself a favor and get the 12" wheel and you will never look back. The pics and story of my trailer are with Dr. Hess blog.

Thats a nice trailer, i was thinking about that one for myself too. I was going to build one, but i just have too many irons in the fire.

As someone else mentioned, the speed rating is based on the full load rating of the tires. You'll never load them anywhere near that heavy....if you do you'll never be able to stop..

also you will only want to run the tires at about 25 lbs...lots of good info and links down in the trailer forum.

Mine don't bounce unless it is empty and it is windy out. I took 2 leafs out of the original set to cut down on this happening and it works real well so far.
