Anyone know why this is $99

I realize they are different part numbers, but what about them is different?

The $99 one does not incude the mount kit

I saw that but the mount kit is only 29 dollars.

Not sure where the other 170 comes from.

After looking further into it I think the $99.00 one is the backrest only, it does not include the shock, etc.

Because of this........they changed the prices on the installation hardware kit

52593-09 INSTALL KIT, ADJ BACKREST (97-08) $49.95
52593-09A INSTALL KIT, ADJ BACKREST (97-08) $209.95

Same thing for the hardware kit for 09 and later

Trust me, the -09 is obsolete. We (the dealership) discussed this earlier last week when we got the heads up. The website is not updated as h-dnet is......and the price books that get downloaded to the dealers.
