Default windshield issue

Does anyone have a fix for cleaning off little spots off the windshield, neighbors kid tried to be nice and clean my windscreen with windex and it left little spots in the plexiglass. Ive tried to get them out but i cant....has to be away to get the windscreen back to being clear....i know he was just trying to be nice but...damn it...i use s100 windscreen cleaner but even that wont take it off.....its like the windex dried in the sun and let little sunspots....

Just a guess, but I would try more Windex to remove the spots...

Good Luck Bud

Having worn prescription glasses most of my life, when I got lenses that were plastic rather than the heavier glass, I was told firmly not to use windex or any ammonia based cleaner on the plastic lenses. It was recommended to use an alcohol based wipe on the plastic lenses. Maybe this applies here too?

This is your best shot. I bought a used car that someone had used something like windex on the gauges and it had spots that wouldn't come out for anything. The maguiers got most of it gone although you can still see them. It isn't probably ever going to look perfect again, sorry.

harley factory shield are coated with a film.
may consider CAUTION with use of plastix on small area.
If plastix is used firmly in small area it will go thru the film.
Once you go thru film it will be visible with polarized glasses..you will see rainbows.
Consider something like plexus first..then go to next level.

AND caution with RAIN-x ..the regular stuff can turn the harley shield milky.

Default spots

i ride for a living and my "company bike" was not well maintained by it's previous rider...someone used glass cleaner on the large Road King windscreen. it was hazey when assigned to me and the best way i have found to correct it is the Eagle One Wax As U Dry detailer and i use a microfiber cloth. the haze goes away until the windscreen gets wet again. i then hit it again with the detailer. not a perminant fix but if nothing else work for your spots then this may be a band aid for your problem.
