crazy sound from back of bike
I have 08 Street Glide with 6000 miles on it first I had a rubbing sound from the drive belt being to tight. Dealer put new bearings in back wheel and new IDS bearing adjusted the belt to below Harley specs fixed that noise I believe. Now eveytime I pull the clutch in and release to go into another gear or or down shift its making a siren noise starting to go off only way I know to explain the noise. And when I get some speed up in 2nd or 3rd gear and let off gas the noise is their again but a constant sound hi and low sound. It is coming from the pulley side. So should I get the dealer to replace the front pulley , back pulley,drive belt and the IDS thing behind the back pulley. Been at the dealer three Saturdays letting them work on the previous noise coming from back wheel now this.Im thinking just change it all and stop chasing the problem around.

Mine is doing the same thing only I have to ride about 50 miles it is like it has to get hot then sounds like belt is out of line just had dealer service and had belt alignment checked perfect hope someone comes up with solution
