Default difference between electraglide classic and ultra?

School me on the big differences between the two. I'm thinking about adding one or the other to the stable. Won't be a new one, likely something between an '00 and '05. I know the ultra has the hard lowers, but what else?

I belive the intercom system, CB and the rear radio speakers. Me and the wife do alot riding and 2 to 3 long trips a year and would not be without the intercom system, and when traveling with friends we use the CB alot.

Yep, rear intercom/stereo/mp3/navi/cb jack for inter helmet/headset comm. If you do any two up riding at all the ultra is the only way to go

I don't think the classic has cruise control, either.

The difference in one word is Extras. Lots of Extras. Both in chrome and accessories. The Ultra also comes with the upgraded Charging system too, I believe.

An option on the Classic, so you may find used ones with it.

Like the others say, lowers, intercom, cb, tour pak lights and speakers.
I have a 08 classic with ABS, cruise, MP3 connect. I hava a quick disconnect on my tour pak and can easily take off to get the SG look.
I know lots ao guys with the ultras that never use the intercom or cb but its there if they ever do.

When I bought mine the Ultra came with a tool kit as well .

Around here you see many more Ultras than Classics, and asking prices seem about the same.
