3 Pin Stator Wire?
Ailing bike is a 2006 Road King. I'm trying to diagnose a charging problem and all of the write-ups I've seen reference a two pin stator plug when talking about testing the stator. My bike has a three pin wire that goes from the stator to the back of the regulator. I'm assuming it's coming from the stator as it comes from the front left of the engine case but I could be wrong. The wire doesn't unplug from the case, it unplugs from the back of the regulator. Can anyone confirm that this three pin plug is the stator plug?

Okay, I obviously didn't look hard enough at my service manual because I was able to confirm that the three pin plug is the stator plug after looking at the manual little closer. So can anyone confirm how to test that stator is good using this three pin plug? Am I just checking for continuity from one pin to the two other pins?
