tires and service
leaving on a 7 day ride to arkansas next month so i decided to go ahead and put the bike in the shop for my 5k service (@6300 miles). i do most of my own service like changing fluids and installing oil cooler, etc. but thought i would let them go thru it for peace of mind. they charge 300 for 5k service but since fluids are fresh, only 125.00 to go thru the bike. seems ok to me. asked about a 408 new tire since mine is starting to cup but he told me still about 2 months out before they had any. also told me he doubted if hd would warranty the tire. think i will get in touch with customer service to see if i can get any help...ride safe
