Besides the 2010 rear tail light/brake light assy looking ugly, it wouldn't work for your 09. The rear fenders are different in that your tail light sits in a hole cut into the fender. The 2010 does not have the tail light hole obviously. I used the Russ Wernimont led cat eye tail light w/ built in turn signals and the chrome mounting bucket. I think it really cleans up the back end and the lights are bright. All holes are covered too. Pretty slick, eh. Oh and it's a direct plug in to factory harness.
First, I would like to thank those of you expressing your gratitude for my military service, but really there's no need...it's my job and is no more important than anyone elses (back home) that earns a honest living.
Anyway, this is slick. I like it. Is it bright enough during the day? The brake light pulses, correct? You also need to purchase the mount too for an additional $100, correct? Anything else you can tell me about it? Thanks.

I think the rear of the 2010 is cleaner looking than the 09! I like minimal clutter back there!
The one pipe is definately to appeal to the "HOT ROD" crowd. I had the choice of either as my dealer had 3 09's left over. Went with the 2010 and no looking back!
