Yeah I was kinda under the impression that the cd's were on thier way out soon. I don't have an Mp3 player or anything equivilent to it, and have no idea how it works. Maybe I'll have to invest in one soon.
You don't need a player on the scoot...you aleady have a singe disc player, so if you burn a CD with MP3's you'll get almost 200 songs on it. Just make the CD as a DATA disc, and choose what songs you want that are on your compter. If you have alot of CD's, you can put them on the computer easily and then burn your disc for the bike.
So with all the changes we make to our scoots, what's the deal with HD not having a CD player that has a six disc changer? Or is there one that I don't know of? Anyone know of one that Harley makes or an aftermarket one that works?
HD used to offer a 12 CD Tour Pack mounted one but it was discontinued a few years ago. Part Number:.....77184-01

I do not disagree with the concept and yes it does work, but after 10 days in the saddle (Like last week on my trip down to The Dragon and back up the ol' Miss) flopping cd's is a pain to say the least. Coupled with the fact that play lists are difficult at best with a data CD. I have twelve play lists on my Ipod and I still got tired of them on the trip and went to my XM more than a few times. Mp3 players are the future (at least this week), like it or not. Truly no disrespect intended, just a difference of opinion and you know what thous are worth!
THank you all for great and awesome info and advice. I've never used an MP-3 player but I figure if I can build my own computer, then I should be able to figure out how to operate a mp-3, right?
