My last message got garbled in one spot and I want to clarify something. The FM mileage map, which is merely more leanness in the cruise range, will not give you 50mpg, IMO--but will improve MPG some. Going a bit further and getting AFR's near stock (14.6) will put MPG's at or near stock if you can keep your wrist in control, but more heat will be a consequence of the leaner mixtures. Use synthetic oil and add an oil cooler to push oil temps down, and on my bike heat is not an issue, with oil temps staying at a very sane level.
