Default Electra Glide Standard Radio

I want to put an after market radio in my '03 Standard as I refuse to pay what Harley wants for theirs. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as one that is better than another? Speakers? So on and so forth. Thanks for your help and time.

Check-out biketronics.com and hawg-wired. Both sell installation kits, and, more importantly IMO, modules that allow you to use aftermarket headunits with your handlebar controls. You can usuallly find better prices for the headunits from on-line vendors, but the modules are the key if you want to control the headunit with the handlebar switches on your bike.

Try the search function and you'll find a ton of posts on their products and various headunits.

I use this Kenwood Excelon system. Speakers and all, tweeters too. Sounds pretty good, real good actually. $450 total with installation. Got a buddy who runs a cheaper Kenwood and it sounds as good. Think I payed a lot extra for this Blue Tooth stuff.
