Been riding since the late 60"s. Didn't have to have a license or a helmet. Now its both by law !! I wear a beanie because I have to have something on my head that looks legal. Really enjoy riding in states without a helmet law. Whatever happened to FREEDOM???

I always wear a helmet. DOT half helmet is decent weather and a full face in the rain. I strongly support "let those who ride decide". Some folks like to ride without, more power to 'em.

Half helmet for around town cruisin', 3/4 open face for the highway, full when it's really cold. (Which doesn't happen all that often in SoCal, which means I rarely wear it.)

no helmet for me, unless going thru a helmet state, or bad weather.

when i do have to it's a half helmet, and when raining i attach a shield to it.

Outlaw DOT half helmet......(just started.......)

a big crackdown here in NYC.........cops had roadblock just for us bikers last week here on Long Island......
