Went to my dealer to have them look at a problem I was having with my oil pressure gauge, which they fixed under warranty.
They also said I'd be due for a rear brake-pad change shortly, but they didn't have the pads in stock.
I asked what the cost would be if they had the parts and was told about $65.00.
Went over to Two Brothers in Lawrenceville and they changed the pads for $38.00.
If I was mechanically inclined, could have done it myself a lot cheaper, but I barely know
which end of a screwdriver to hold.
Anyway, Two Brothers treated me right and I saved a few bucks.
Guess I lucked out.
I like to do my own stuff and it helps with costs. I did buy the fix my hog for touring and I'm buying the service manual for ma bike to assist me...basically to make sure it's done right and for safety reasons.
