What hinge replacement did you use for your tour pack? I have found my tour pack hinges are in need of replacement, (Loose and create a thump when riding) and have heard several speaking about the ones they purchased to replace theirs that are wore out. Did you use stock replacements or upgrades and for how much. Thanks.
I've ordered the "stock" ones out of the parts catolog....work fine for me.
If Harley has upgrades they would be on the new '10 CVO Ultra, that tourpak lid weighs a ton.
I just bought a set of HD Premium Tour Pak Hinges for my new 2010 Ultra Limited .. can't tell you much about them because they aren't installed yet.
The directions indicate that you have to drill out the old rivits and replace them with the provided hardware. The HD part number is 79211-08A and they retail for $49.95 and can be seen on Page 393 (C) of the 2010 HD P&A Catalog.
If you get the HD premium hinge after you get the rivets out you have to make the holes slightly larger to accommodate the bolts in the hardware kit did I say go slow go slow they also open easier than the stock hinge
