I have a GoldWing that uses a 5 pin headset and a Harley Ultra that uses a 7 pin headset. All my helmets are 5 pin. The 5 pin will work on the Harley for sound but will not work for the intercom. Im looking for an adapter that would allow a 5 pin work for a 7 pin. Does anyone know of an adapter that will do this? Ive done some Google searches, been to edsets.com, and to J&M and Im not finding it.
I don't think you will either...I went thru the same thing and ended up getting new headsets ..I plan on just thowing in the old headsets when I sell the Goldwing..
Thanks! Of coarse I have two different kinds of head sets, so I need two coards, $81.00 worth. I was hoping to find adaptors, but it looks like I have to go the with cords.
Rodfarmer - I know that this is an old thread, and I wish I knew how to PM. Whenever I try, it says that I don't have authorization. I hope that you see this because I just switched from a 2001 Wing with 5-pin and was wondering if you ever found the cord, and if so, where did you did you find, as I need a couple of them too. Thanks - Murph
