Let's see, it's 110+ degrees outside today in Phoenix. Should I dress up in jeans, long-sleeve shirt and boots to ride 2 miles to meet friends at a coffee shop or should I just hop on the scooter in the shorts and golf shirt I'm wearing with my sneakers ? Wanna bet I won't be changing ?

It's like drinking light beer, don't see the point. Always need to think about safety and the accident waiting to happen. Would rather have the cow skin take the beating than my skin. I can always buy more leather...Don't trust cagers...
I wear them around town, swore I'd never wear them on the super slabs, but, rode to the beach and back in shorts over Memorial Day weekend. Hard to wear jeans when its 95 with about 110% relative humidity. I always wear a long sleeve T's when riding. Like to wear Chuck Taylors too
I have ridden in shorts (2 times), sandals, a t-shirt, and no helmet. I don't give a ratâs **** about what anyone else thinks about my apparel. After 35 years of riding I feel it is my choice. Besides, when the BIG MAN says your time is up.... then it is up. It doesnât matter if you are riding down the road in shorts with no underwear, or sitting on the pot smoking a joint.
