Never ever wear shorts. My legs are so short I barely clear the pipes when I put my leg down anyway so if I wore shorts I would constantly sport burns on my legs. I have lots of friends that wear shorts. Everyone's free to make their own decisions.

Ok give me poop because down here everyday is over 100 in the summer. I wear jean shorts, biker short sleeves shirt and my helmet.
Is a thin layer of pants really going to help me if I go down. Hell no. I would rather be not sweating like a pig & enjoy the ride!

Every now and then,but after seeing some dude on a vtwin with thong flipflops ,shorts ,no helmet,yesterday its not worth the skin graph!!!!Looking for some riding jeans

I appreciate the guys who do suit up in full leather on a 100 degree day.... but its definitely not my style.... i'll opt for comfort over leather on a any given summer day.......
