Finnally an Ultra

This year I thought I would get my last HD. An 010 Ultra Classic. At 69 yoa I thought this would do the trick. The dealer had a limited coming in that was not spoken for but I decided to stay with the Ultra Classic as I do not like the two tone scheme of the Limited and if I want speed I can just jump on my Buell or XR1200.
Of course the color I choose is black. If it is a motorcycle it must be black. If it is a tractor it must be green. If it is a truck it must be red. It's a rule that I live by.

This is the loot they give you when you buy an Ultra.

Two tee shirts, a cap, a reg. fob, a pewter fob,a guarding bell, a ball point, a chrome lic. plate trim (not shown) a year membership in the local hog chapter, a year of national HOG and a great shadow box of the five new models introduced in the 90's in pewter.
Book wholesale of the FXSTC was 11,700. I tried to sell it on craigs list for $12,750 OBO and free delivery in an enclosed trailer for up to 500 miles. No interest. The dealer offered $13k and I scooped it up. In Illinois you pay sales tax on the difference between the trade in and the cost of the new bike. So it saved me almost $900 in reduced sales tax.
The first 010's shipped to the dealers had spoke's front and rear. The dealer also agreed to swap them out for the mags that they had last year.
The dealer took only three hours to do the paper work, get the mags on the bike and me out the door.
I almost forgot, no set up fee, 20% off parts for three days and free 1k service.
The dealer is Reiman's of Kewanee, Illinois. The town is small but people come from hundreds of miles to get a bike there. Now I know why.
I did not think that I was being taken for a ride as I did with two of the HD's that I bought at an other dealer.
I left there feeling that I had been treated like a king.

It sounds like you had a really good buying experience. That's the way it should be, and it's nice to hear about dealers that understand how to treat customer's right.
The only thing I disagree with you on is the color of trucks. They should be tan. That way, you only have to wash them every other year.
