Default iPod/iPhone, where do you put it?

I'm just looking for suggestions on how you guys hook up your iPods and iPhones. How do you run/hide the wiring, and where do you store or mount the device? I guess the windshield pockets would work, or some sort of handlebar mount, but I wanted to see what people were doing. Thanks!

check out the new boom audio magnetic bag from Harley. A buddy of mine bought one and uses it with the speakers I mounted on his R/K handlebars... works pretty slick!

I use the T-Bag windshield bag. The cord hangs down about 10 inches.

I use a Ram Mount. You can take pictures and video while you ride (if you are careful of course!)
Here is what I have for my iPhone 3GS:

I also have a 1st generation ipod touch, and use the exact same mount as Stang951. Mine's on the left handlebar also, but a little closer to the fairing than Stang's. I use a 12" cord from Radio Shack & I don't worry about hiding it. I just leave the cord unhidden, and it doesn't flap around in the wind, or anything like that. It's nice to be able to just put everything into the TourPak when you don't want it visible. (Also, have to unplug from ipod, to get ipod out of the mount.) The 12" cord might be too short for a RoadGlide (or a stationary fairing), but for my EG Classic it's perfect.

Couple strips of industrial strength velcro on center tank console. Iphone isn't going anywhere, and easier to reach than bein on handlebar mount. Not very noticable when not in use.

Only trick is finding a case that the velcro will stick to. Many are made with a coating, almost like teflon, that repels anything trying to stick to it.

Just a pic of the case mounted, cuz I used the phone to take the pic!!

Belkin makes a nice coiled accessory cord that runs from the iphone up to the radio. Works great for me!

I haven't figured out why you need some type of mount. Why not just put it in your jacket or shirt pocket? Works for me.
