Hey all, I'm new to the forum, recently purchased my first Harley, an '09 Streetglide. I've seen a few threads about suggestions to clean this or that. I love the Lemon Pledge tip, and look forward to trying that this weekend. Anyway, I'm an addict about keeping my vehicles clean. Here is a site that I often goto for products and, more importantly, information about ideas to "properly" clean vehicles.
I'm in no way affiliated, just wanted to throw it out there as another resource. The "How-To", "FAQ", and "Articles" are very helpful. Most of the site is geared towards car care, but can obviously be used on our bikes. There is a section for "Motorcycle Care" as well.
I spent 5 hours totally cleaning my Road King today. I don't use wax, I use REJEX. It is a coating that will not allow anything to stick to it, lasts at least 6 months, and will not allow rust either. Good stuff. I can't tell you much more about it other than it will also make your bike shine bright enough to start a fire. Google it if you have questions.
