I've had three different windshields and it's been the same on all of them.... No helmet, no problem. Half helmet, no problem... My modular helmet...always a problem. I only wear the modular when the weather is bad and I don't want the rain nailing me in the face...
Do you want "cool", or do you want wind protection. You are pushing a "barn door" down the road and your entire head and shoulders are above the dinky little wind screen. Where do you think the air is going to go?
You didn't say if you wear a helmet? if so what type,1/2,3/4 or full? How tall are you? With mine the buffeting was real bad at first and 1 figured out it alot of it was my helmet. I switched from a 3/4 with a face shield to a full face. Man, what a difference it made with the shield down. I rode a new 2010 RGC at demo days for about 40 miles and the buffeting didn't seem that bad. We did both hiway and side streets. Dont give up yet, the Fugly glide is one of the best rides HD has. My 08 still has the stock shield on it. I get a little buffeting but mostly its at above 75-80mph.
no i dont wear a helmet and i am 6 4 and want somthing that looks good i dont want a 10 ft tall windsheid i need something to stop that god awfull buffetung i dont mind wind thats why i ride but it should be smooth air

I don't blame you. 20,000K should equate to buffet free riding. Nice job Harley!
