While on a ride yesterday, I stopped at a watering hole and I was talking with a guy who works for a Dealership. He had a nice 08 RG. Had a new two-up seat on it called a "Hammock" and said it was the best seat he ever had. I should have asked him more questions about it before he left. Anyone out there using one? If so opinions. What does it cost? Thanks
Protect your backside from harsh road conditions. With its revolutionary fabric suspension system, the HarleyŽ Hammock Touring Seat offers increased rider isolation from sharp road impacts. The sling-like fabric suspension system that is integrated into the seat pan is manufactured from a unique blend of fibers that offer flexibility and durability. The fabric acts like a hammock, providing 2 inches of suspension above the seat pan, with an additional 1 inch of traditional foam on top. This internal suspension prevents "bottoming out" and provides a 30% improvement in comfort and endurance over the long haul by sheltering the rider from harsh road conditions. The vinyl surface is easy to clean and maintain, and is finished with a "Harley-DavidsonŽ" embossed script logo. Can be equipped with Rider Backrest (sold separately) on most models. Seat width 17.5"; passenger pillion width 15".

SOUNDS INTERESTING...SOUNDS ALSO LIKE IT SITS ALMOST LIKE A TALL BOY SEAT...YOU NEED LONG LEGS...HWEHEHEHE
The 09 SG demo model I rode before I bought mine had the hammock seat. It was very comfy but if you have shorter legs it will be a balancing act at every stop because of the thickness and the width.
love mine, had the air seat before it and the hammock seat is by far the best seat I have ridden on. Have ridden several thousand miles with no hot spots, tired back end and ready to ride the next day.
