I sent an email to one of the many ads on EBay for custom paint jobs..... I would like to get one for my 97 Electraglide Standard. Figured I should ask around to see if any of you have any experiences with any of the EBay paintjobs before I get to far into this. Should I, shouldn't I? Are they scammers or to risky?
ok I saw this real nice paint job on a fatty ,so I asked him who did it,he told me he bought it off the internet from these guys http://www.sinisterflames.com/index.php
Attitude Custom Painting... AKA www.customflamepainting.com did my paint and I love it! I had a friend who after seeing mine had his RK painted. Scott (owner) is a great guy and good to work with. They have pre painted sets, Sets including tins, so you have NO down time, or they'll paint yours, all depends on what you need. I highly recommend them, and sometimes they offer their sets on Ebay. Check out my gallery.
got a good quote from Attitude Custom Painting...... will most likely go with them. Now just need a couple of months to get $$$ together. Will post pics when I get er done.
I bought one from Iron Mountain Custom Paint somewhere in Minnesota, I asked him through E-bay about type of paint, clear coat, and paint process. Paid 951.00 for tank and fenders for a Deuce. It was a very good job, he said he would buy back my stock tank and fender but I kept them.
I responded to an EBAY ad and met the nicest and most professional and talented painter I could hope for. He will do a great job for an amazing price. He stands behind his work, returns all calls and emails, and will do what he has to do to make you a happy customer. His name is Pat Jewell and his shop is called "Custom Workz." When UPS packed and shipped my set they damaged the entire set. I sent it to him to get repaired and he did it with no charges at all and sent them back to me within a month including shipping time. The man is an ex-Army Ranger and is totally squared away. He is currently studying on the side to get his helicopter flight instructor cert. Here is his number: 830-377-2259. All I ask is you tell him that Ed from Virginia sent ya.
