8 Degree Injectors..................
My story.....................................
It all began on 11/30/2005, when I took delivery of my new SG. The bike ran great, maybe the cool weather or maybe a Tuesday build at the factory, who knows?
Decided to add pipes, opted for the SE 98B's, SE A/C and SERT, Dyno Tune and still no problems.......................
Ran the SE pipes for approx. 1000-1500 miles and decided I wanted a 2-1 pipe and in BLACK! Service, suckers me into doing a 95" kit
, Dyno'd again and still no problems............................Never has my bike entered heat management, had a cold start problem, stalled, coughed, puked or done anything other than run like a scalded dog when I twist the throttle!
Will hit 5K this week and loving every minute of it.
Let's hear the stories, 8* guys or gals, best story gets a free set of 25* injectors at a dealer of your choice
.
06' springer classic, stage one, 5200 mi. PC 111, 8* injectors, No problems.
Good to hear!
I failed to mention, coming back from Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago, stop and go for over 20 miles, 93 degree heat, still no stalling. Hot thighs, yes, heat management, No. Averaged 45 MPG down and back!
Chris
I have the 25D injectors and I have a friend that has the 8D injectors. He has a cold start problem and I don't. His bike coughs and mine don't.

big bore and all and still with 8*. only problem is starting with a gallon or less in the tank. sometimes have to stay on the starter a few seconds even with a full tank. will 25* fix this?
Jonah,
I am by no means a wrench, but can read, and the injectors are controlled by the ECM, which is controlled by whatever (SERT, PCIII, etc.........). All the injectors do is spit the amount of fuel that the ECM allows them to. Maybe I'm wrong on this, but have read it at numerous sites and in several mags. Maybe Shovelhead will jump in on this one. Just odd that many are running 8's with no problems, yet the 25's seem to be the answer to all problems. Not sure if the converted finally had a tune on their bikes or if the 25's really are the S**t!
