Default luggage capacity
Does anyone know the luggage capacity of the Harley hard saddlebags? Wonder how the cubic inches of storage capacity compares to the heritage bags.

Yes, if anyone knows, please post . My son and I are coming to Eaglerider from UK, doing a one way trip, and we need to know how much were dare to pack

You'd think that info would be available somewhere! Buried on the factory website it says the bags have a total of 2.26 cu ft, presumably of half that each.

Chris, Eaglerider should be able to advise there! You won't be the first Brit they've served.

There's a sticker inside the saddlebag with the load limits printed on it. My '09 RG states on '08 and earlier models not to exceed 15 lbs per bag. '09 and up the limit is 20 lbs per bag.
Sorry, just reread your post and you ask about capacity, not weight. My bad.

The factory hard bags will hold 29 liters each.

Don't know answer but learned on a Sturgis trip my buddies RK Classic leather bags seem hold more than mine.

You could buy saddle bag liners and pack in those...that way you'd know it fits.

The bags will hold what ever you can stuff in.Of course,the weight will be the main factor.

Hmmm .... I always measure my storage in "cubic ounces"
