You'd think that info would be available somewhere! Buried on the factory website it says the bags have a total of 2.26 cu ft, presumably of half that each.

There's a sticker inside the saddlebag with the load limits printed on it. My '09 RG states on '08 and earlier models not to exceed 15 lbs per bag. '09 and up the limit is 20 lbs per bag.
