I am going to attempt to install the Ultimate Engine Kit from Boogey lights tomorrow. I have the seat off, the ECM is out of the way so I can get at the battery but how do I run the wires from the lights to the battery area? There is a big metal plate under the seat between the engine and the battery, how can I possibly run the wires to the battery with that in the way.
My bike is an '08 Anniversary Ultra, if anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.
I believe there's a plastic cover over the battery and we slide the wires through same hole the battery wires go through. I don't have an '08 to look at, but we have not had any problems accessing the battery on this model year. Feel free to send a couple of under the seat pictures and I'll be happy to take a closer look.
