does anyone have the HD Saddlebag Tool Tether (p/n 53579-01) ? If so, will all the tools from the factory tool roll fit in one tether or do you need one for each bag ?

 

No. I have one and it doesn't hold diddly! You'll be lucky to have it hold a pair of pliers, a screwdriver, and a tire guage. It's a good supplement to your regular tool kit, to hold little things. But, I wouldn't count on it to hold big tools.

 

Save your $$$$$. I use mine to hold a mini Mag Light, tire pressure gauge and Visine.
