I've got a 2008 flhx and currently run the HD synthetic oil in all three holes. I've decided to switch over and buy Amsoil online but I have a question I hope someone can answer, I'm going to buy Amsoil 20w50 synthetic for the engine and primary but which should I order for the tranny severe gear 75w90 ----75w110 ---- 75w140. Thanks
i heard that harley wont warranty the motor, trans, & primary if you don't run hd oil.
Bullshit!!! Harley can't make you use their products in your bike. Just make sure that whatever you use meets Harley's requirements and there won't be any problems.

Any of those will work, I personally think 75w90 is too light for the tranny. I like 75w140 myself.

BMW does. If you blow your motor the first thing they do is test the oil. Don't ask how I know...
