The comment you made about Harley stock shocks being garbage is not actually true. Harley doesn't make shocks. They have their shocks made by a well known shock manufacturer. I'm not sure if they still do,but a man that's been with Harley about thirty years now told me they were at one time made by Showa.
A lot of HD parts were at one time made by well known manufacturers. Not so much now. My comment was my personal opinion after putting many miles on stock shocks and then changing them out to Progressives(which still leave something to be desired but I can't afford Ohlins right now).
