I really like that the MoCo got rid of the same light design they've been running for years with something that works better...but then again, I'm not afraid of change.

That's ugly as sin.....

you could upgrade to the CVO Street Glide rear fascia with the CVO LED tail lights for less than half of that price.......
(I already priced it out..)

Put on some saddlebag lid spoilers. Then you will have 4 brake lights. They work with the brake lights but not the turn signals.

If I had an '09 or '10 Touring model, I'd sell my fender, saddlebag guards (and rails if so equipped) to reduce the cost of installing the fender/LEDs used on the '09 SE RG and '10 SE SG.

Alternatively, PM ncbeast. He installed some LED light bar product that attaches to the fascia fillers and seems to provide a lot of light.

Or, as mentioned, do a swap with an '09 SG owner.

Look at Custom Dynamics. I bought their LED turn signals and they are really bright. Here is an idea for you.

Not on an '09 but I'm rebuilding my '07 SG and eliminating the tail light and turn signals. Putting LEDs in the saddlebag fillers on it and I'm sure it would be the same. Will post pics when I get it done (4-6 weeks).

You could do the lights and fascia from the CVO SG. I love the light setup on the back of mine. They are LED and bright day or night. I get a lot of comments on them from other riders. They look great and are very functional.

Any aftermarket options out there for adding a brake light to the fender or backs of the hardbags??

What colour is your bike? I've got a denim black 2010 FLHX and in Canada we still have the large brake light. I would be interested in trading set-ups for the fender without the brake light.

I would think that you could get a side mounted one that would hold your plate as well that would fit under your hardbag. It seems as though I've seen those particular critters somewhere...
