freeway vs. back roads
I can't believe you guys that admit that you are left lane drivers. Every time I see someone cruising in the left lane I figure they are lousy drivers. In Texas, and most other states I think, the left lane is for passing only, by law.
Ride safe...and keep right except to pass. Back roads are better than freeways but either will do as long as you are on two wheels.

Why would you think someone is not an able driver if they are in the left lane? Just wondering. I don't claim to know about any other states, but here in California highwys can have as many as 6 lanes on each side plus a separate commuter lane! All lanes are used with left lanes generally being faster than the right lanes-if you want to go faster or pass get to the left. If you want to go as fast as the fastest traffic, get all the way to the left! The exception being the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane which would be the farthest left for 2 or more per vehicle drivers OR motorcyclists. I often use the HOV lane simply because it is faster than all other lanes of traffic.
