Default Header Pipes

Ok guys,I am looking into putting true dual head pipes on my RG,so I need to hear from those who have already done this to thier touring scoots about loss of performance/power. I have a buddy who keeps trying to talk me out of it for the reason. So let me know what happened to your scoot with true duals. Thanks guys,I know I can get real info here.

I have the v &h true duals and oval slipons on my sg. I like the looks of them and haven't noticed any loss of power.

There is a slight loss of bottom end but unless your a racer who cares. I would look at the Rush headers, they have the heat coating inside & out which makes a difference.

From what I've read, the stock headers (without Cat) are great. I would not change them unless I wanted a custom look.

I put on VH true dual headpipes and Bub 7 mufflers and could not tell any loss of power. I like the look, and my wife likes much less heat on her right foot and leg.

Couldn't notice any power or torque lose...
Then again I'm into gaining or losing .5 hp.... who cares

But my leg is a hell-of-a-lot cooler.
That was my main purpose for true duals

Very happy with my choice

That is another reason for wanting the true duals, trying to get the heat down a bit.
