I paid $1890.00 for Rinehart tru duals, SERT and an SE/AC. This included the dyno with a report. I held out and shopped around. The dealer finally agreed to do it because Daytona Harley set the price. Adamec HD matched it....and bitched a little...
I could not be happier.
Thanks to everyone. What a great resource we have. I appreciate the opportunity to exchange ideas with so many knowlegable people.
It seems my dealer is not being unreasonable considering what is offered. Sure, I could do the work myself except for the SERT. I know there are slip-ons for half of what the MOs cost. I kind of like the idea that dyno time is included. It would be interesting to have the reports to illustrate the before and after effects. I wish I had all of you to consult for life's other problems. Jeff
Dyno at 4 to 6 hours is something I can not put this into my head...revving the engine, printing out data inormation, adjusting and et. cetera over, over, over, over, over and over.
My final conclusion...Go with FuelMoto Package. Easy under $800 and less than 1.5 hours of "Plug-In and Play" installation minus Dyno. First start and the rest is history with tons of smile afterwards.
