Has anyone ever found a nice leather duffel bag,or something big enough to hold a leather jacket and chaps?I have bags on my Road King but they are usually full with other stuff when traveling.I thought something about 30 inches long since that is about the width of the scoot with saddlebags, and about the diameter of a sleeping bag.
Something easy in design to secure to the back rack or to tie to a backrest..
Thanks
Captain,
I bought a "Rapid Transit Division Tail Frame bag" setup. It has 2 pieces. One being a round bag that will strap onto the passenger backrest and also has additional straps on the side to secure it even more. I can put my heavy jacket and chaps into just fine. Easy on/easy off. Looks like man stores carry it just goggle the whole phrase in quotes and you should find it. First site I looks, the complete set up was $152.99. The main bag has done well on long road trips also.
Oops. missed the leather part. This isn't leather.
I have a leather tour bag that I am selling if you are interested. However it is only 16 inches long and will hold chaps and leather but it cannot be a real heavy leather jacket. I carried my chaps, gloves, sweater, and other quick to get to stuff. My leather jacket is a really heavy joe rocket so it is a strectch to get them both in. I am now getting a tour pak and will not be using it. Check it out on my RKC.
Guy,s thanks but I am have looked around on ebay and a few other spots.I will probably end up making one.I was looking for something soft that I could roll up and stash in the saddlebag.Thinking of some soft chap leather and a drawstring top, with a reinforced bottom.Something pretty plain and simple but strong enough to last.
Have you thought about checking out a gym bag or a general sports bag. I have an extra large one which holds a tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, rain gear, and air pump for when I go camping. I never unpack it (unless I have to dry something out) so it's always ready to go on the next run.
I have a 6 x 18 bag and it folds up for storage. It worked great on my Dyna Glide and I use it in my saddle bags to carry clothes. http://www.saracenibags.com/index.html

Hey! Thanks for the link. It looks like what the Cap'n is looking for and I like the bagger pouches.
